Welcome to DNA Tree Farm & Nursery
DNA Tree Farm & Nursery offers a wide variety of premium quality trees and shrubs for your landscape needs. We are a family owned operation and when you visit you will likely meet several of us. With our knowledge and experience we can assist you in choosing the right products for your landscape projects. We established ourselves as a company in 2018 and have been growing and expanding ever since. We have many acres of trees and shrubs for our customers to browse and choose from. Our nursery is located at 6039 County Road E. Omro Wisconsin.
DNA Tree Farm & Nursery is known for having a VERY large selection of fruit trees. The selection of fruit tree includes multiple varieties of apple, crabapple, pear, plum, cherry, peach, and nectarine. Our nursery has a large volume of Green Giant and Emerald Green Arborvitaes to choose from. We also carry many specialty and ornamental trees.
As spring arrives and the plants begin to bloom our nursery begins to awaken from its winter slumber. With a bit of help from Mother Nature our fruit trees, flowering trees, and shrubs put on quite an initial show! And not to be outdone, these early bloomers are of course followed by dozens of other beautiful plants throughout the spring and summer! Our landscape nursery offers container or B&B trees, shrubs and garden perennials. During the autumn, the nursery puts on a grand show of fall colors from the large selection of beautiful shade trees.
We are open to the general public and landscapers for retail business. Please feel free to come and enjoy the fresh air and scenery, as well as shop at our nursery! We look forward to seeing you!
Thank you,
Dan and Ann

How to Plant A Tree the Right Way
To plant a tree properly, start by selecting a suitable location that receives adequate sunlight and has good drainage; then, excavate a hole that is twice as wide as the root ball but no deeper than the ball itself, allowing the roots to spread out. Gently place the tree in the center of the hole, ensuring the root flare is level with the ground surface, and backfill with soil, tamping it down lightly to eliminate air pockets. Water the tree thoroughly after planting to help settle the soil, and apply mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds, carefully keeping it away from the trunk to prevent rot. Consistent care, including regular watering and monitoring for pests, will support healthy growth in the crucial early years of the tree’s life.
Plant Trees. Grow Deer.
Planting fruit and nut trees can turn any property into a destination for deer. There’s good reason for all the hype, and that reason is that mast producing trees are simply the best thing you can add to your property to attract and hold more deer. No other food source can match them in terms of nutrition and attraction. If you want to start turning your property into a destination for wildlife you need to start planting trees and now is the time.
